it never rains but it pours eh!

they have now had the car for 2 weeks and said the headgasket blow was a very bad one and have also said the radiator needs replacing as it was rotten at the bottom and gunked up, and the ignition coils (3 of them at £30 each) had gone brittle and were causing a missfire

so the original £650 = vat

now added

radiator £250 + vat

coils £90 + vat

4 more hours at £45 + vat

so far .... £1,150 + vat = £1,350

there goes the new 46" lcdtv i wanted

it just keeps getting worse

So far you have got it cheap.

My C180 P reg 88k head gasket and rear main oil seal are leaking oil - the HD has not blown and they want in excess of £1800 just for the labour.
