Yeah one is miles away but the other is close. You are right though.Probably best to try both. You'll know very quickly which you prefer.

Oil at every service - ATF at least once...brake fluid. It’s a high annual miler so I suspect it’s had business use and very often those are well maintainedOne last question John. What fluid changes should I look out for at that milage?
7 seats is something I have been looking for, but if the right car came without 7 seats I would go for just the 5. Do you know of anyone selling a car like this?Is the 7 seats a priority? Or just coincidence?
I ask as they are rare
No the reason I was asking was that these two cars will attract some premoium as they have 7 seats so either if you kept shopping around for standard 5 you’ll save some money or use the fact that you ‘don’t need’ 7 seats therefore Ng for a reduction.7 seats is something I have been looking for, but if the right car came without 7 seats I would go for just the 5. If it was taxi, i'm guessing you would avoid?Oh one thing struck me on the high miler- try to get the background what it’s been used for - worried me after it might be a taxi
Well the car has been advertised for 97 days, so it has been up quite some time. I have a car to part ex, but before I offer that, I will see if he takes £7,000No the reason I was asking was that these two cars will attract some premoium as they have 7 seats so either if you kept shopping around for standard 5 you’ll save some money or use the fact that you ‘don’t need’ 7 seats therefore Ng for a reduction.
You have to be prepared to walk away though if you don’t get a reduction
I would- no disrespect to any taxi drivers on here but a lot get abused and loads of engine idling...If it was taxi, i'm guessing you would avoid?
Yip you’re in a decent negotiating position then- they’ll want it movedWell the car has been advertised for 97 days, so it has been up quite some time. I have a car to part ex but before I offer that I will see if he takes £7,000
Yeah I think so too. Do these cars suffer from DPF problems? Should i worry about clutch, gearbox etc at this age?Yip you’re in a decent negotiating position then- they’ll want it moved
Well that e-class 350 I was looking at has been sold . Just rang the guy and he said that someone paid a deposit on it yesterday and they are on there way to pick it up at lunchtime today.Yes you can and it is awesome

JBell Do you know of any cars being sold, with this type of engine, sub 10k price?
No you're right Malcom. Downside is the car I wanted has now been sold, I'm struggling to find an alternative now.Hope you don’t mind me saying so but you may have to hone your negotiating tactics offering £7k against a screen price of £9k won’t leave the dealer with any margin a reduction of £400 would be a good discount on that car it was competitively priced
