hi to all, im a new member of the forum and require some urgent advice.
my 2002 ml270 has recently had a major water leak resulting in a visit to the garage...the first stage was replacing an elbow that previus owner had bodged. it was replaced then pressure tested only to find that the fuel cooler is also leaking...the car recently ran out of water due to the problems, never showing more than a little over 80 on temp gauge..sudenly the engine stopped. luckily it did not seize and drove well to the garage after putting in more water with a small ticking noise not there before, so expect some damage has been done. i live in Hinckley near leicester and need an affordable option for repair...ie: used fuel cooler part, and possibly anyone on here that knows of someone that could further investigate any possible problems after fuel cooler has been fitted....Please help if you can. all help and advice welcome.
