I wasn't missing anything, just studying the backs of my eyelids!! I'd just bought two big oscillating fans so was lovely and cool in the bedroom last night- we have those multi-point hinged windows that only open about 45 deg, the bedroom window is in a wind shadow so it's been stifling hot at night recently. I'm up for work just after 0500 so my bedtime is no later than 2200, otherwise I become even more grouchy in the day if you could imagine such a thing.

I'd just bought two big oscillating fans so was lovely and cool in the bedroom last night.

We bought some of those quite a few years ago, couldn't live without them. We have them in every room apart from the bathrooms and the Lounge which is east facing anyway so doesn't get too that warm in there. Good investment !!
