I was checking my Mercedes me and found something called “Highlights”
tried to put a destination in from Google maps but it didn’t work.
Any ideas why?

Have you enabled the subscription as I think it’s a paid for service with Mercedes’ Me

You been able to that for a while on the app they have extended it to certain apps but believe Google maps isn’t one of them yet , works from apple maps tho

Thanks. My car isn’t 2 years old yet, so should be covered in the subscription when I bought it.

Mine only works on Google Maps and Apple. I just use the “Share” button and select “Mercedes Me”.

It’s all a bit hit and miss though and only seems to work 50% of the time and then only when I’m in the car with my phone and the engine running. Still, when it does work, it makes setting a destination very easy

I did have Apple maps, just didn’t realise. Can’t see a share button. Will try again when my engine is on.

Mines hit and miss as well, find it sometimes works when your sat in the car. You can search for a location from the Mercedes’ me app then send it to the car without another app been used

Tap the three dots and that will bring up a menu which includes ”Share”

You usually need Comand Online which, for my car, was part of the Premium Plus package. I know my sister, who has the Garmin navigation system in her car, can’t do it,

My command online can be hit and miss

Right I’ve just tried both apple maps and Google sharing location to the app and both dont work

So sat in the car and used the Mercedes’ me app to find an address

My command online asked me to authorise the Mercedes’ me app and then it allowed the address

Press yes and route will begin.
as previously said sharing to Mercedes’ me app doesn’t work that good but doing it from the Mercedes’ me app does !
