Intermittent wiper

When I have the wiper on the intermittent mode sometimes it stops around the 2 o'clock position, the only remedy is stop wiper then re-engage, is this a replace wiper symptom ?

This happened to me before, the wiper did this, and then started to not park at the bottom of the screen.

Mine just fixed itself one day, but I’ve heard that sometimes the electrical relay that’s responsible for switching off the wipers in the parked position can get dirty contacts/fail entirely.

Before taking the wiper apart etc it might be an idea to take a look at the relay and see if you can clean up the contacts and check it’s working

mine stopped working altogether on the intermittent mode, does one wipe then stops. Its going into mercedes tomorrow for a repair ill post what the problem was if they tell me.

Left mine in yesterday to have intermittent aspect of the wipers fixed, dealer took it apart and ordered a new sensor but strangely when they put it back together again it worked. Glad it was raining at the time so so far so good not sure what took place but as long as it works....
