iPod integration with SL?

Hi,
I have a 09/2003 SL and am half considering getting the iPod integration kit fitted to it. I've read a lot on the forum about different COMAND systems, MOST bus, etc but really don't know what I have fitted and so I can't tell whether the iPod integration kit will work (as in make the iPod controllable from the steering wheel)

So, in another thread I've seen that iPod integration will work with "vehicles fitted with COMAND", whereas conflicting info in other threads (admittedly about other models)

I have the phone already fitted, and it has a AUX button on the head unit (dunno about a port in the g/box, will need to check)

Can anyone confirm if it will work?

Hmm, just shows how good my memory is! I don't, in fact, have an AUX button on the head unit but I do have the port in the glove box.

The MOST bus was intrduced in 06-03 on the SL so a serial number would be a safe way of finding out what you have

Put your vin number into here to get the build and sold date including the WDB 17 in all

And I will double check the MOST start date, this is all quite critical to you

Thanks - that link gives me a delivery date of 02.07.2003, but no build date (unless they are the same)

They are the same, so it will have the most bus
