Is this the fuel pump leaking?

Pic below of what I think is the fuel pump on my 1975 350SL. Its dripping quite considerably but it stops when you turn the car off. Its behind the offside rear wheel. Is it safe to drive to garage to get it fixed?

Plenty of jubilee clips there. Is it worth checking the hoses for cracks/splits, and also checking the clips are tight?

As for driving it, it depends how fast its dripping, and how close it is to the exhaust.
