Saved £100. I received a renewal quote for my Fiat punto from Swift insurance £256. So did a google and Churchill will do for £160.
No brainier. Changed to Churchill. Why oh why do insurance companies do this? Force us to change company every year.

It's way time the insurance industry was looked at properly by some regulator or other. Hastings are trying very hard to rip me off on a proposed change of car. They know l've recently renewed and that l am therefore "trapped" until renewal. I will change next year as they have now effectively prevented me from purchasing at least one replacement vehicle as l simply will not let them shaft me. Legal and General also have annoyed me this year with an arbitrary house insurance hike (above inflation rate) and won't negotiate, so they're on my list for change next year too. Cowboys most of them.
