Just joined. Just bought 2 Mercs today...

Hi guys.
I just joined the fold and bought 2 Mercedes today from Salisbury Mercedes. One for me and one for my wife. I got the Cab and she got the GLC.
She had a new SLK AMG Line in 2013, a new C220 Cdi AMG Line in 2013. Then we had a BMW 320d & X5, but now we both fancied a Mercedes. I fancied a convertible......so this E class suited my needs. (The Jag is courtesy vehicle after someone mangled the 320d....)

The X5 was ropey and the 320d was mullered by a drunk in a VW T6 Camper. I needed 2 new cars. So decided these suited our needs.

John Laidlaw......its definitely a white christmas this year.
Have done 80 miles in the GLC now and 30 miles in the E Class. Both park themselves. Scary function. 7Logic B&O in mine is impressive.

Father has a 2012 E350 Cdi AMG Coupe. Sister has an SLK 250 Cdi AMG.

We have a proper family fleet.

Congratulations they are two good looking cars, I particularly like the design of the E Class Cab with the Ponton rear arches

Have driven the GLC for about 120 miles now. I can officially say its damn slow. Lovely thing to drive though. The E Class has only done about 30 miles. Dont want to get it dirty.

What engine have you got in the GLC if it's 'slow'

PS they must match your weather today (snow where you are?)

The GLC is the 220 Cdi. I wanted the 250 Cdi but it made us go over budget. It goes ok, but we stepped out of a 300bhp X5 for this. Mercedes is a nicer place to be.......just needs some winding up. Lol.

No snow here. Much to my daughters dismay.

Good evening "the director". I was going to go for silver.....but just thought it looked terribly boring. So went for white....its a little less "old man". Dont you agree.
