A Jag. Jags are my favourite.
Has anyone got information on list prices of these models when they were new ?

I've got a couple of old Parkers Plus price guides but they don't go back quite far enough. I need to know how much a 1973, M registered 280 SLC would have cost new, and also a 1976, P registered 280E would have been.

I think this is a question that the official MB club could answer. They have an archive section with a gigantic amount of info of this sort.

Found some of the details. I bought an old Glass's Guide from June 1981 and the details for a 280E are in there. It says £8,951.
Couldn't find details for the 280 SLC though. It only mentions the 450 on that year.
