Mercedes Bonnet Badge

Eh Well! my sweet girl (CLK 230K) that has never even hurt a fly in her life got vandalised parked in sainsbury car park an hour back. Nothing caught on security camera. Anyhow, apart from scratches, that would reveal their intensity in the morning, she has a broken wiper blade and mercedes star bonnet badge.

On ebay, there are apparently two size of badges, 40mm and 50mm base badge. I was wondering if anyone knows what size would fit CLK!?! Also on ebay, the badge sells for roughly about £15, how much should i expect to pay merc dealer for it ?!


Any input is much appreciated.

Dealer is probably the best place to buy and they may even fit it for free for you. The dealers are quite reasonable on badges following the Beastie Boys in the 80's

my son removed (snapped off) my badge a couple of weeks ago, and that's understandable as he's only 1 years old, anyways I went to the stealers and bought a new badge cost about 20quid and they even fit it for me (a very quick job) for free after I asked 'how do i attach it)

it all comes in one piece (base plus the star) and they use a pliers to rotate the base clip around, then the old one pops out, and in goes the new one

once done the car looks better actually

so, forget about ebay, pop down to your local MB shop

Went to Dealer and got the badge (£16) and the wiper (£16). O and got them fitted for free. Yuppie!
Wonder why are they selling it the same price on ebay when you can get it for kinda same from merc itself!!!
