Hi All
I wonder if any of you can shed some light on a very strange problem that has started on our 53reg sprinter van.
When you are driving along, as you accelerate you get a sound through the ventilation system that sounds like air being sucked in.
However when stationary the noise can be heard more on de-acceleration.
There is no loss of power and the noise does not increase the amount of air being put through the ventilation system.
It seems to make no differance what setting you have the ventitation system on and we have even tried blocking the air intake under the bonnet to see if this stops it, it dont.
Any suggestions?
I would be very grateful of any help on this matter

Hello Tristam,

Just check that your engine air intake pipes are not split, and are connected. And also check any vacuum pipes as well.

Adrian.
