Mercedes Sprinter 413 CDi HIGH WATER PRESSURE

hi, ive got a 2002 mercedes sprinter 413cdi and the water pressure is really high, ive changed the thermostat & water pump but the pressure is still high, any ideas as to what the issue may be

What do you mean by high water pressure?

What is the mileage on the engine, this can sometimes be caused by a head gasket failure.

If open the header tank cap with the engine cold, is the water still under pressure?

Also, what does your temperature gauge read when driving?

What model is it and what mileage has it done ?

These engines rare as it have porus heads, which in effect give symptoms of high pressure in the water jacket. Do a sniff test and check for CO2. Is it loosing water ?

Where about are you as I a have a good head for one of these.
