Has anyone got an Alarm and immobiliser system by these people?

For a long time I thought mine was defunct but I have had some life out of it today.
It locks the Car and it sets the alarm. If I unlock the car with the key off goes the alarm.

Not sure what the system of button pressing is, Arm, disarm etc, as not got any instruction leaflet or card.

Suspect the battery in the fob needs changing as is very temperamental (the neighbours have noted!!)

I've got a Meta on my TVR. I thought it was a crap system because it kept malfunctioning (turned out to be the blipper). But actually, it is quite robust. The TVR gets very very hot and not many alarms can take it. The remote blippers do go pop though and can be replaced quite cheaply. There's a guy in Surrey who does the necessary. I can dig out the number if you want to chat to him.

It sounds like a misquote of St.Augustine.....

"To many, total abstinence is easier than perfect moderation."

or... "Complete abstinence is easier than perfect moderation."

Thanks. If you can let me know the basics for the remote I will see how it gets on with a new cell battery and if no better contact your guy in Surrey.

Oh ! and for the other reply the answer is Samual Johnson - a pious man but the reference is to Alcohol.

Spam - must be the answer to your question!

PS to last reply.

Looking in the keyfob it does not seem possible to replace the battery?

The zig zag bar which straddles it seems to be soldered both sides. How is this removed?

Thanks

Thanks Stumpy, looks like the two new cells in the fob have done the job.

Still not too sure as to what the simple procedures are for the locking, unlocking, and any other cryptic settings that the system provides.

Sometimes press once and it unlocks othertimes it just flashes. Can't be rocket science and nice to know that I can unlock the car now without having to use the key. Nothing more irritating when you've got a full shopping trolley with intentions of sliding away because the Car Park is on an incline, and your fumbling about with one hand trying to unlock the boot. Used to have to unlock at the Car door as boots are temperamental to keys.
