i have a A140 and was wondering if it was possible to put a turbo in it , but the engine bay is too small or is there any other way of making the performance better?

A big one
From the wording of your question, I'd suggest the way to improved performance is to sell it and get a car with the performance you desire.

If you were competent enough to "put a turbo in it", which is a decidedly non-trivial task, you'd already know all the other possible ways to improve performance. The most you can hope of are minor gains from a remap, which you'll get used to very quickly, and you'd still get left for dust at the lights by diesel vans. As i understand it, the A140 is either a 1.4 or 1.6 petrol with 82PS and virtually no torque.

I hope you don't find that too disheartening, but I'm afraid it's reality - welcome to the forum!
