Hi All,
Hoping that someone can help me who either has access to the merc online parts catalogue or who has fitted new rear springs to their car. Mister auto don't know which springs are correct and my local main dealer has got this wrong both times I bought springs off them previously.
chassis number is WDB2021882F642236
the car is a 1997 mercedes c250 td elegance auto estate with tow bar, leather interior etc but without SLS. I assume this means I will probably need the heaviest duty/ longest springs available/ maximum points? If there's no "HD" spring I will get max thickness pads which I have used before on other W202 estates. It's a load lugger so would be nice to have a little reserve in the springs so it's not on it's arse as soon as theres 100kg in the boot!
If I can get the merc part number I should be able to get a febi or sachs spring off mister auto, save myself a few bob and a 50 mile round trip to the dealers who got me the wrong springs on both other occasions i bought from them!
Many thanks in advance
