Shipping Euro €8.80 to France but will ship worldwide it seems.

Not sure how that compares with local Stealer or Bosch UK Prices, maybe someone would care to comment on that, before anyone innocently logs on and thinks they are getting a bargain.

Bit sad this , replying to my own post I mean, but I found the answer to the cost of original units from your local Bosch Shop or MB dealer.

On a petrol engine if the maf is causing a problem then buy a new one, Ive just bought a new one for a customers car a 2001 CLK 320, £139.00 inc vat from a bosch agent, original part!!! or MB £242 +vat and that was with my discount!!!

I buy em up off ebay if they are sub £30 all in, always handy for customers until a new one can be bought. Always worth having a spare just in case.

Makes me laugh at the quality of the china made MAF's and people buy them!!!!!!!

How right you are.... could come in handy when fault finding.
Misfiring.. poor acceleration etc. 5 minute job to swap the MAF with a known good one might save hours of grief

Well most of us are going to need one at some point in time, if you do not by the time you sell the car, sell it on here or Ebay

Thanks for the advice. Just seen one and bought it. (New-Buy Now-£29.99 + pp) Like insurance, now I have it, I hope I won't need it. But if I DIDN'T have one, I guarantee I'd need one.!

I have just purchaced an Mass Air Sensor and in the instructions it says i've to disconnect the battery before i fit it. Is this right? Or can i just unplug it and change it.
