MY17 C250d Coupè
Any E estate owners in? 2017 > onwards?

The time has come to move on my immaculate c 250d coupe and I am looking at the E estate and A6 avant currently.

What are they like in premium plus guise? Spec wise?

This also means my c250d coupe (66 plate, MY17) may be going up for sale privately as the WBA outfits are offering me more than I owe.

Any ideas on price privately? Its mint with 30k and FMBSH. Spec is here (massive): https://www.mbdecoder.com/decode/WDD2053082F348761

Airmatic seems quiet rare on these, along with the driving assistance pack.

E Class Estate E220d (2019)
I have E220d (2019) Estate with Premium Plus and it is fantastic. Powerful, silky smooth to drive, great tech and very frugal. Regularly get 55+mpg on long runs. Huge space and better all round that Audi in my opinion. I tried both before ordering and the Merc is definitely more ‘premium’.

Had a 2017 MY W213 E220d SE, very comfortable and great on fuel - although that was all before the software updates...

I had an A6 Avant 65 plate S Line Black edition , beautifully built but dull as dishwater
I've has 2 x 212's which were IMO a nicer place to be and the 213's I've been in seem even better.
I know I shouldn't , but I'd also have a sneaky look at a Superb and a V90 just to add further comparison (presuming you've discounted a 5) If I were you....
I'm currently looking at estates but don't want/need diesel, so the 213 is a bit limited sadly unless I go full 43 (Tempting but defeating the purpose somewhat...)

New E300e looks very nice - especially from a BIK point of view

if I was going company I'd definitely go for that, privately I'm not so sure...
If you get a new one and have it for 36 months then you've no issues...:p:D

If you want petrol the price point is quite high even second hand I’m currently waiting for the E43 or preferably the E53 estate to come onto my radar going by my son’s W213 E220d saloon they are a superb chassis and drives more like my old W210 which was superb. Don’t be put off the 20in wheels the suspension handles them better than anything else I’ve been in MB have done a really good job

Cheers. Very insightful. My old man has a Passat so was going to look at those also. The 5 has been discounted - came to MB from BMW and BMW havent moved forward since so not going backwards. Ill have a cheeky skeg at some V90’s online as I just seen on in traffic and they look like they might fit the bill (boot space) nicely.

W213 E400d All Terrain
I had a 66 plate 220d Premium Plus with Drivers Assistance pack and it was a lovely car. I've now traded it in for an E400d All Terrain, also with Drivers Assistance pack which is even better. Unfortunately through the life of the W213, Mercedes have repeatedly reduced the options lists and moved more to "packs" making if very difficult to find second hand cars with specific configurations.

Doh! Forgot the Passat , schoolboy error! My father in law has an 18 plate R line estate and I must say it impresses. Think it’s a 1.8 petrol and seems very capable- huge boot.
