Just fitted some new leather in the 116, here are some before/after pics. I have new carpets coming which I should have done first really, but I couldn't wait.

I will do them the second they arrive!
I have a set of refurbished walnut wood on its way too, but that might be another month :(

What a treat just to look at it.

Thanks for posting the pics.
More when the carpets and wood are fitted?

The new carpets arrived today, so I have stripped out the interior, again, and now I've hoovered out all the dirt, treated any bits of surfaced corrosion and then painted the whole floor pan in an anti-rust paint (not that it will ever see the rain again during my ownership!)
That will dry over night, then tomorrow I'll fit the new carpets and put up a pic or two IMG_20171028_142032706.jpg

Oh, and I have a bunch of sound insulation I took from a few w220 s-classes, I will be cutting that up to fit in various places where appropriate too!

Some pics of the new sound insulation, followed by the new carpets install, and finally everything back together. Those w126 rear foot rests aren't really supposed to be there, but I like them, although I might re-cover those too to match the rest.

So the main interior thing I'm waiting on now is the refurbished wood.

Little update.. finally got the wood back.. well almost all of it, just the small piece to the left of the glovebox left, but I thought i'd get on with fitting the rest. So far done the center console... unfortunately i'd run out of light by the time I was done, so the pic isn't great!

Looking good indeed, makes a world of difference. Having had 2 cars with tan and grey interiors, I would have opted for a darker carpet, dark blue or black, as it wont show the marks, but I do admire the effort. The foot rests are a very good idea.

Yes ideally I would have had a black interior, but the car came with cream so I wanted to keep it the same!
