- W211 E class estate 2009 E220
New member ! Just joined, I have an E220 estate W211 low mileage German Taxi and I love it.
I Had a few W 126 300 and 420 se models saloons in my younger days and in the 90's and after a 500 SL when I had Company cars. They changed my perception of motoring. I am now semi retired and do most of the basic maintenance myself. I gave up on another German make last year after repeated problems with wiring etc and have returned to the fold.
I have an engineering background and have restored a few classic cars from the 60's. I also worked night shifts on engine and crank machining in the 70's whilst at college so am familiar with the oily bits. Not really that up to date with modern motors but I like to work through problems and from my 30 years experience on the Jag lovers forum (Clasics Only) I thought I might glean a load of help and experience from you guys.
