Newcomer to the Club

Hi everyone,

Just joined the MB Owners Club and have a question.
Recently my radio stopped working and at the same time I was unable to use either key fob to lock the doors electronically.

My local garage have come up with a whole plethora of B and C fault codes, all of which seem to run back to the CAN system and what he calls the acquisition module.

Am I correct in thinking that I may need to replace the ECU - and if so, what sort of money is this likely to be ?

The car is a 2005 CLK 200 K

Any advice gratefully received

My first question would be if your garage is a Mercedes specialist? In other words do they have Star Mercedes diagnostics?
I think they mean the SAM module , the cost depends on that being right and the first question!
