I've noticed a bit of nocking from the back of my 1994 C200 when on a rough ish road or going over bumps. A mechanic looked at it and said it was the rear bushes (i think?). Anyone know anything about this?
Shock absorbers are quite likely. Remove the boot trims on either side and sit in the boot while someone drives over bumpy ground that causes the knock. Put you hand on top of the shocker (where it is mounted) and feel for the knock.
