Oil Leak

Hi All,
My car is a 2010 E220 W212.
I’ve noticed an oil leak at the head of the engine.
There is a small pool of oil running along the trench at the top of the engine around the injector heads.
The car isn’t using any oil and nothing is visible on the ground.
Just wondering where it might be coming from and if I should be concerned.

Does it smell like diesel, or oil.

Clean it all up , then it should be more obvious where it comes from .

It looks like engine oil - pretty black
