OM651 Diesel filter

Hi,

Do Bosch make good diesel filters? I know they are OEM for most electrical parts but not too sure about diesel filters.

Just looking at prices, does anyone know who makes the OEM diesel filter for OM651?

Prices are
OEM = £75
MANN = £50
BOSCH = £40

Not 100% but I think they are Mann
Nothing wrong with Bosch though- I’d also give MB Grangemouth parts a call 01324 686002 they give forum discount and £5 delivery - if you’re concerned OEM the prices there will be closer

Do check its the right one, there are two, one with an electrical connector on top (not sure what its for!) the one without is cheaper...

Bosch make good quality everything. I would have no hesitation about fitting their stuff at all.

I recently replaced the fuel filter on my 2009 E350 CDi with a Mann WK820/2X filter (transferable sensor type), I got it at cost through work fortunately, considerably cheaper than the £50 you were quoted.
