P0252 Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control A Range

Hi all

for the past month, I've been having trouble with the car as the engine light would go on and the power output would be limited to the point where I can't even do a 10-mile trip without it happening. I had the fuel filter changed and it's still causing trouble and I've had the car looked at multiple times to no avail and it repeatedly shows the fault code P0252, any advice on what I can do?

Get a SDS session, test quel quantity valve function (I assume that 'fuel metering control edge' refers to that....)
