No matter how good it may be, there are a total of 15 hydrogen filling stations in the UK and only 50 in the whole of the US. So unless that changes overnight, these will never sell.

I think building hydrogen filling stations will be more difficult than placing some chargers next to an electric cable that's already nearby though?

If you mean the cars themselves, Toyota and Hyundai already sell them.

I'd disagree.
Power infrastructure is always set to what is required, this applies to domestic supplies as well. There's a limit to how much you can hang onto the same cable before issues arise and the installation of fast chargers is proving particularly problematic. Service stations are installing fast chargers to meet demand, only to find further obstacles to overcome in getting power to them.

Installation of a hydrogen refilling station would be logistically not differ much from an LPG installation.
A new hydrogen only filling station could be quickly setup using derelict or closed filling station sites. Provisioning these sites with fuel could be accomplished using a tanker fleet, all of which is currently available.
For rural areas this would be far more economic than increasing the supply capacity by laying long distance high voltage cabling.

Immaculate 2005 CLK200 just turned 50k miles - offered £880 trade in (declined). Done 45k trouble-free miles in comfort over the past 2.5 years.
2021 I-Pace with 3.3k miles, 36 months Jag warranty with roadside assistance, free home charger installation for £33.45k.
Keeping the trusty CLK for when the I-Pace lets me down….

I have to ask but what range do you have , do you know the battery size in kw, just curious..

WLT range is 290 miles - of course they all lie so I expect I expect around 200 in winter and 250 in summer.

Batter is 90kWh 400V

Thats a big battery mine is 85kw, range does change as soon as its minus- but not by a great deal but depends on things like heated seats which the wife has on every trip.
