Possible turbo issue?

the actuator is common on the OM-642. Not available seperate from merc but of course seperately available. the numbers need to match - aparent when you take it off.

Usually Hella-Gerrat.

Turbos rarely fail themselves but are let down by something controlling it.

Understanding your initial post - has your own car itself had 3 new turbos.

I've just done my actuator a week since from turbo -vanes £132 although mine was absolutely goosed(badly worn), there's a worm wheel and quadrant gear inside and was also evident by the amount of movement on the actuator arm, very simple to replace and I also have wightys (thanks) fix with the resistor, Mercedes also quoted me £ thousands to fix the inlet manifold swirl flaps, the car is running at present, better than anytime in the last 8 years and capable of 50mpg
