Problems with sunroof in W124

Hi
I have a problem with my sunroof, the tube where the opening/sliding bowden should run, is broken. I need to repair that part, but its under the roof carpet. Does anyone know how to get the roof carpet off, without causing any damage?
Is there a scheme for that on the net somewhere?
