Details sent, re the stip along the front, that is the easy one, just remove the strip of metal, put some mastic in and just screw it back again slowly doing up all the screws so the the power locks will just lock OK

The front seal on my R129 roof popped out while it was stored in the garage for the summer and I'm struggling to get it back in. It sounds as though the gap can be widened by loosening the strip of metal somehow?

Yes take the metal strip off and put it back with some sealer underneath.
