R320L - 12v Power Outlet

Hello Everyone,

I bought a 58 REG R320L recently. I can see only two 12v power outlets in the car. One is behind the centre arm rest facing middle row seats and one is in boot.

As per CAR manual there should be one under glove compartment opposite to passenger seat but couldn't find one and No cigar lighter as well.

Can we get off market cigar lighters and adapters and get it installed on the front ?

some suggestions pls.

In the same-year ML, it's in the ash-tray.

If you haven't got one, I'll bet the wiring is there for it...

There's 5 in my 07 R Class
One in the middle cubby of the front centre console
One above the front passengers right foot in the door well.
Two at floor level on the rear of the front centre console ... 1 either side.
And 1 as you say in the right hand side of the boot area.
Why would anyone remove power points?
