Radio doesn't turn off

Hi Guys

I was playing a CD while driving parked up at Tesco, when i got back to the car the light was on but no sound, anyways i got home and when i turned off the car the light still remains on again no sound. i tried starting and switching off the car a few times no luck. so the light of the radio is not going off.

i have a clk 270 2004.

any ideas please?? need to sort this asap

Not an easy one, it happened to me last week on my 140 and I have disconnected it for now.

Not an easy one, it happened to me last week on my 140 and I have disconnected it for now.

Thanks, i am worried it will drain my battery, how did you disconnect it?

In my case I pulled it out, in your case you should be able to remove the fuse.

Fuse 64 in fuse box engine compartment drivers side for cars up to 31-05-04


Fuse 20 in the rear fuse box is for the CD changer and could be for radio as of 01-06-04 in the side panels in the boot left side I think

Removing the fuse and replacing it after 10 min may fix it.
