Hi All,

I hope someone can help, but i just can't figure out how to remove the CD holder fitted in the glove box of my W203.

The main problem is the multi-changer is erratic, and sometimes it will play but stick, and other times the stereo won't recognise it at all.

It is also fitted next to the CD holder and i just can't see how they squeezed it in.

I have to remove the multi-changer for inspection but just can't mange to get to the torque screws with the CD holder in place.

Any help very much appreciated,

Jay

Hi Cole,

does that mean i have to prise it out using a flat bladed instrument, knowing it could break at any time, but do it anyway?

Regards

You insert pulling hooks next to the release panel and rotate 90º

Hi guys, thanks alot for the quick responses.

I'm gonna try either way and hope it comes out in one piece - but its not that important if it gets injured as i don't ever use it, but i need to get the multi changer out.

Best regards,

Jay

Hi Guys,

As mentioned the CD storage was positioned quite flush next to the multi-changer.

I would like to say that the CD storage was not clipped in anywhere, just pushed in.

I took a thin chisel and wedged it underneath, then twisted it slightly and pulled until i could get a grip - came straight out.

Many thanks to all for your help,

Best regards,

Jay
