replacing the fuel filter on a C220

morning all, I would like to service the car and that includes the fuel filter.

question I have is it under pressure? or just plug and play?

You can take the hose clips off the fuel filter and just push/pull the hoses off , I do fill the new fuel filter with diesel just to save the car trying to start for to long , but I understand that it will eventually start without filling .

As Wighty.
No special attention needed. Just remove old filter as said and replace with new. Rags around the area will soak up any small spillage.
I don't attempt to try and fill the new filter with fuel before fitting it, because even with an empty filter it only takes a moment of starter motor use before all is running fine again.
