Rubbing rear brake

I have an awful grinding noise on the rear near side brakes. It seems to happen when I apply the brakes and then release them especially when driving slowly. The rubbing noise then starts while I am traveling slowly and then disappears at speed. It is something around the brakes and I was wondering if they are not releasing properly once applied.

Any ideas? Many thanks.

Two things here. One that that the backplate is not bent and rubbing on the disc, but more likely to be a broken spring within the hub on the parking brake
