Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone has any advice to the replacement of the fuel filter on my W221 S350?
First impressions is that it looks straight forward to remove until the realisation that the large alloy turbo air pipe has to be removed because of the large chunk of alloy that sits above the filter, I guess this is a swirl pot or similar? To you experienced Mercedes technicians out there is there a knack to the removal of the filter or does the whole air pipe have to removed, it looks a real lengthy job to do if it does considering it's a service item!!
Also is the fuel system self bleeding after replacement or is priming required?
