Hi, sorry if this is seems like a silly question but,
The back window and door seals on my 1990 300CE 24V have a few problems. Drivers side door seal is cominig away and a bit mouldy green. Not leaking on the door door but the back window has water trapped in on 1 side. I need to replace these seals but I'm unsure how to remove theback window safely. It has the demister and maybe the radio ariel(I cant see where elseit is). What should I ask for and what adhesive to uses ? is it perhaps a pro job ?

Find a good local windscreen firm and use them. In Brighton there's a company called Third Party Windscreens who deal mainly with the trade. That kind of company has people expert in fitting screens & seals to all kinds of cars as they've seen them all before

For example, they know that the front screen of a W124 Cabrio is different to the Coupes and Saloons because of the strengthened pillars. It's that kind of knowledge that helps prevent cock-ups
