Hi, Not been on here for a while, i have a problem with sbc system on my sl350/ r230 the dash reeds service brake visit workshop, i was wondering if any body could give me some info on what can be done to reset the system , my son purchased a reset kit obd which i tried , fault went out but came back on again after a few seconds has any body used one of these, i may be doing something wrong. looking forward to your reply.

Maybe your brake pads are worn and the wear sensor is being triggered?

Do you think it is an SBC issue?

Thanks , i thought if it were a brake pad issue it would show brake pad on dash, not sure? i will check pads tomorrow in any case, i only thought it may be SBC issue through what i have read ,thanks again for your reply.

Pad wear would show a circle with dotted line around saying brake wear. There’s an issue with your sbc system, get it read.

With some faults, you need to fix the issue and then delete the code.

What makes you think its a sbc fault.

No guessing pal. get or an indy, codes read, diagnosed and fixed.
