Hi, I have a problem with the service indicator on my W209 CLK500. The car had a dealer "A" service 600 miles ago but last week the battery went flat after leaving the lights on.........

It started again no problem after charging the battery but the service indicator now says the B service is due.

Does the computer just need to be reset or could it indicate another problem?

Any help or advice, or pointers to a thread that could help, gratefully received.

Thank you in advance,

Michael

You can go to the service in the instrument cluster and re set this, the ignition normally has to be on to reach and get into this menu. It is all in your handbook.

Thanks Malcolm

Thanks Malcolm, I'll do that, just didn't want to reset it without asking if it was due to something else, such as a fault.
