Hi Please help.
I have a c270 2002 plate. Of late it will have a battery drain of over 10A when switched off. This is an intermittent fault and occurs at any time. Over night or just one hour after driving.

I have traced it down to two wires in the terminal block near the battery. I need help identifying where the wires that I have disconnected go to.

When I drive the car now it will come up with coolant visit service center. Other than that it drives with what it seems everything working.

Thanks in advance.:p

Rear window heater?

Not saying that's all they would power but the amps is about right for it.

I think that you will find that the heater block has gone short circuit, 99% just cut then wire and isolate it.

Wow thanks for the quick responce L John and television. You guys have made my day.

The heater block seems to be the most likely I did read some of the posts on this forum before posting.

Just one more question as you can see there are two wires going to the same connection. Do they both feed the heater block?

There is the 1 wire that you need to cut nearer to the front. then insulate.
