SL 350 battery light on dash - can anyone help??

I am similarly confused by a red battery light. It could be the bcm, but I'll check the fuses first.

If anyone is near Cambridge and can recommend a star service that would be great

I'm in Bedford and we have Millenium Mercedes that I know have Star.
However they are going through some changes at the moment so this is not a recommendation, just information.
If you do come to Bedford my SL is available for any comparison checks you'd like to make...

Star, xentry check codes delete try again. Harness connections the one(responce) I hate is module x? Has an unknown fault!!!! Which goes on delete code, then comes back a week later.
