Have you bourght it yet :D
Wighty: Not, yet. I am still travelling in expectation and performing due diligence which the members of this Forum have been so terribly kind in doing their best endeavours to assist and support me. I have, however, spoken to the proprietor of the independent Mercedes-Benz service centre who has looked after me for many years; his comments in regards to the machine are broadly in line with the information so generously provided by the kind gentlemen of this Forum. The vendor of the machine also telephoned this morning and called again late this afternoon.
He advised that the OS Front Strut was replaced on 30:6:2015.
NS Rear Strut has just been replaced.
NS Front Strut was replaced in April 2014.
Both rocker cover seals have just been replaced.
Undertray has just been replaced.
Boot struts have just been replaced.
Both rear wheels have been refurbished.
Pirelli tyres are fitted to the four wheels.
Measurements in millimetres across both sides and centre of the tyre treads are as follows:
NSF 6.5 - 7.0 - 7.0
NSR 7.0 - 7.5 - 7.5
OSF 7.0 - 7.0 - 7.5
OSR 7.0 - 7.0 - 7.5
Both rear wheels have been refurbished.
A flap, trim and other components in regards to the roof have been replaced.
Boot seals have been replaced.
A 'B' service has been performed.
I understand the machine is still within the tutelage of the service and paint workshops.

The vendor is to telephone again on Wednesday.

Sounds like they are more than forthcoming...
As I said, good luck, it's a 'lot of car' spend some time with it before committing- if you can, and pay attention to your instincts- if you trust them...

Frosty: You're right. I shall start very low say, would you think one hundred pounds would be too low?

Let Wighty do the talking...
Frosty: I may need Wighty to negotiate the garage space. The reason? My wife's car will have to be evicted and live outside

Frosty: It would have been pure lunacy to serve notice upon her to evict her machine until I could at least see the potential of having a clear rationale for the eviction notice.

That will never work . It would be easier to negotiate Brexit .
