The Joys of buying privatly, the guy tells me this morning that he has sold it to someone else for more. I had arranged to pay for it within 5 days.

I will wait the next time until I have it home before I post anything.

What a life, so may be I will get one with distronic and comfort seats.
I can wait till Xmas untill the right one comes along, and I have fixed my fianances so that I can pay cash there and then.

Hi Nick, no, I offered him one but he said no, pay it all in one go. I had the car HPI checked, so I am only £40 out of pocket

As Bobcat says,it would make it like the Audi forum, as for Auto Trader I am back checking the adds twice a day plus another 7 dedicated MB list.

My Ex went back to Sweden, no MB car, just boxes of money, is life worth living :Oops:

Can't say I've ever had the 'pleasure' of visiting the Audi site... Although on one thread I think I remember a link... What use is a lonely hearts column on a site anyway? Audi drivers must think if the opposite sex drives an Audi too, they will perfectly match!

I remember letting slip a lovely looking W124 estate, it was great, and had the all toys and leather, sadly I missed it but I didn't have the cash at the present... I won't look until I have the money next time...

its happened to me before but i suppose its one of the pitfalls when you buy private (the flipside being the better value you get for your car)

Thank you Ibby, been thinking, I am always modifying my cars to make them look newer, If I get the AMG body I can make it look like the latest model.
