We walk our dog in a park that runs directly behind Mercedes in Watford. Honestly the mess we get in the park in the area close to Mercedes is terrible. Considering the huge amount of money they have recently spent on extending that dealership you would think they would keep the back areas tidy and empty the bins regularly or at least put lids on them. But no, despite 'Friends of Oxhey Park' constantly asking them to sort the problem out, in no time again we have plastic blowing over the fence and into the park. They should be ashamed of themselves. When someone from the park posts pictures I'm too embarrassed to confess to owning the brand

Environmental Health is the place to go to I would have thought. Stacked bins like that are surely a fire hazard as well.

Very interesting. I spend a frankly shocking amount of money with my local Mercedes dealer parts department every month. Chatting with my favourite parts advisor he told me that their parts turnover has grown massively in the last few years. Two years ago their daily delivery consisted of one full size articulated lorry trailer full. Now it is two. I know they are selling more cars, but the increase in parts volume is massive.

They've been contacted lots of time, each time they do a clean up, then it's back to all that again. It really is terrible. One of the park users is the local Mayor and obviously he hasn't been able to sort it out either.

Are you sure that you didn't see a rat in the rubbish pile :D . The council would like to know that

I think a message with pictures to MB would do much more good than going to the council

Not that I do Faceache or Twitter ..... but posting stuff like this on social media for all to see often has the desired effect. It certainly got the ball rolling when Emily posted pictures of my car's stoved in doors while under the care of a Mercedes dealer.

Watford is my nearest dealership but I don't use them.If I do need a dealer I go to Hughes of Beaconsfield.
By the way Brooklyn there's a lot of building work going on at the MB Direct site in Apsley & there's a notice outside saying it's to be a new dealership.

Mercedes Watford are on Facebook and I had a look on there yesterday and there is a pic of the staff standing in front of their lovely Christmas tree inside the showroom. I did actually post one of those pictures and suggested they pay some attention to what the public can't see, then I got worried and deleted it as I'm obviously a wuss

As @EmilysDad said, social media is the way to go. I have always had a very quick response to any complaints I put on Twitter. So, go for it and reinstate your post! ;)
