Morning all!

A quick bout me and how I've ended up on here

My name's Shane and I'm 28 from the West Midlands

I was debating getting a new car a couple of months ago, went half heartedly looking a few weeks ago online and saw a vehicle that really caught my eye. Went and had a look at it in person last weekend and got to be honest fell in love with it

The car in question was a Mercedes-Benz A Class AMG Line 160 2017 model

A week later and I purchased it and collected it this past Monday (loving it so far!)

I did some research online for Mercedes-Benz forums and this seemed the most popular one and caught my eye

This is my 6th car in 10 yars, previously I've owned a Saxo, Clio, Fiesta ST, 3 Series M Sport, Ibiza FR and now the A Class - the A Class will definitely be my long term car going forward, the one I feel I can finally settle with

So I thought I'd join up and post a quick hello, look forward to chatting to all of you!

We are, but we aint ready tbf, Moore’s in game management is shocking, dont have squad ready, and I dont trust our owner to spend the money we would need to go up

I’m enjoying the Championship as well tbf much better than the greed league

What kind of fuel consumption or MPG should be acceptable for the motor?

I put £25 in on Thursday and had to fill up again today - MOG I’m averaging is about 22, I haven’t drove it loads either just to and from work about 24 mile round trip

Seems like the fuel consumption is pretty excessive and not hitting the MPG I’ve seen advertised or expected?

Mpg can vary so much depending on so many things and advertised mpg figures are never accurate. That said, 22mpg sounds very low for a 1.6 engine in a smallish car with the sort if journey you describe. I would expect to get 25mpg out of mine for something like that and I have a heavy car with a twin turbo 3 litre!

Fuelly.com will give you an idea of what others are getting in the real world.

Yeah it definitely doesn’t seem right to me

I’ve fuelled up today, reset the miles meter and going to monitor how many miles I get from £25 and what the MPG is too

But £25 in the car and then having to put it in again 4 days later doesn’t seem right to me, I’ve not even been tagging the car around that much either
