Morning all,
Please can somebody help?
I’ve recently purchased a C Class Coupe 250d (2016) and have a question on the trip computer.
The ‘range’ seems to be off in terms of the figure that presents.
As an example, I’ve recently put £30 of diesel in the car but the range is not showing 3 digits (please see the attached picture) - it’s like it’s missing a ZERO at the end. At the moment, it’s showing 47mi but I’d have expected it to show more...
Is this the way it’s meant to be? Or, is there a fault?
Any help would be appreciated.
Many thanks,
Vijay

It bases that range figure on the stored last consumption calculation.
Reset it and try again.

Are you aware on how I can reset it? I’ve pressed the back button but that takes me back to the menu. I’ve also pressed OK and nothing happens...

Used to have a C63...
Not sure on your model year, but when you're on the Average MPG display, try pressing & holding OK button for 3-5 seconds...

Certainly on mine the range figure is dependent upon the consumption at the moment. For example, start the car cold and the engine is not very efficient with a poor mpg the range is (for example) 200 miles, when I've driven 2 or three miles down the road and the engine is now efficient with a better mpg the range has gone up to 250. It's just a simple calculation of estimated gallons in the tank/mpg.
