Trusted local indie?

One of my best mates for over 40 years, who coincidentally has fixed, serviced and MOTed my cars for as long, has closed up shop and retired.
I trusted him 100%, and never worried that he'd "find" extra work that needed doing. I wondered if anybody had any suggestions as to a replacement?
I am in the KT7 area in Surrey.

I travel 30 miles to Star Motor Service at Caversham and have been doing for nine years.

Distance is not really the issue......top quality support from a dedicated MB specialist with all the "full fat" diagnostic equipment is worth travelling for......Star is one such specialist.
