What are the best tyres to get for a Mercedes e350 coupe that have 19’’ alloys any recommend make or details I should look out for?
Thanks
Thanks
You won't be disappointed. I have them on two of my three and am gutted they aren't available for the third one. Thanks I might just try the uniroyal ones
For sure there are literally dozens on here who recommend them, I fancied the rainsports but they don’t do them my size- similarly the Michelin cross climates which are superb they don’t do in 19s yetI’ll give them ago buddy everywhere they seem to be recommended
Not much lasts long on the rear though....
Just be aware the 5x stronger sidewalls will also be 5x harsher riding.i had budget tyres on my E350 convertible when I got the car. They were fine but could wheel spin them at the touch of the accelerator and balded them in 5000 miles. Also the inside of the fronts started to get bulges from delaminating. So I thought next time get decent tyres. I bought Pirrelli Nero Zero GTs and the looked and felt great. But coming back from Horley one evening in the dark I hit a pot hole in the road and that made another bulge in the side wall of my front tyre. So after 2 weeks of fitting I needed another.
If you have 30 or 35 profile tyres, in the future I am going to get run flats as the sidewalls are 5X stronger and I do not want to keep shelling out for tyres at £140 each.
Also have ignored the tyre pressure chart on the filler flap and am putting the tyre pressures as if the car is fully loaded 40psi front and 50psi rear. So far so good..
