I`ve borrowed my sons CLK 230 and I`m driving to Cornwall this afternoon and need to find out how to move the drivers seat forward. I know this is unusual but he`s asleep after working nights.
Hope someone can help.
Thanks,
Martyn

If it's electric, there will be a set of buttons on the door side of the seat.
That means on the right side of the seat on the driver side and on the left side of the seat on the passenger side. You need to do this with the door open or with the key in the contact with the door closed.
If it's manual, as usual at the front of the seat there will be a lever to pull to be able to move the seat forward.

Thanks for your prompt reply Marnix. I`ve checked the seat and theres no buttons and just to complicate things there doesn`t appear to be a manual bar to adjust with.
Any more ideas?
Thanks,
Martyn

Hi Martyn
I had a CLK in year 2000 and it had electric seats. The manual was just a guess.
Looks like you'll have to wait for the other members to wake up or get the young one out of bed.
