Dash lights and fogs....again!

Hi! I am a new member from south east Wales and I have just bought a 2002 Vito (w638) 108cdi. I have seen this thread re:dashboard light permanently on and I have the same problem EXCEPT the front fog lights are permanently on when I turn the lights on. No orange light on foglight switch and when I leave the van with headlights off and foglight switch in middle (off) position, the dash lights remain on and the lights on, door open buzzer sounds continuously. I eas thinking it was the indicator/wiper assembly but haven't seen anyone write about this problem and having the fog lights permanently on too. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks James

Hi all, resurrection time.

I have a 2002 Vito 638 with no central locking.

The guy i bought it off was a clown and hid everything from me. I've learned my lesson.

Illumination cluster was kaput. Lights on, buzzer sounding, speedo knackered, etc. noticed a black wire behind the clocks to illuminate the odometer. Anyway, i bought new clocks and a new ribbon and sorted this problem, but lights still on a buzzer sounding.

I've put a switch on the fuse to disable the circuit when i get out. I'm thinking it's the headlight stalk??

Fog lamp lights up, and lights work front and back. Is in the middle position. they seem to work fine.

Can the headlight stalk be repaired or at least positively diagnosed?

Cheers.
